Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leeeeooooooorrrrrryyyyy Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Kilpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins comes to the cage accompanied by Mortal Kombat. Kilpatrick has chosen Parkway Drive - Dark Days as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick from Kilpatrick.
Jenkins tries to clinch but Kilpatrick moves away
letting Kilpatrick counter with a right hand.

It looks like Leeeeooooooorrrrrryyyyy Jenkins has been cut.
Leeeeooooooorrrrrryyyyy Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jenkins instigates a clinch.
Jenkins misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kilpatrick.
Jenkins tries to land a knee to the head but Kilpatrick blocks with his arms.
Kilpatrick on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Kilpatrick pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jenkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kilpatrick throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jenkins moves in looking to clinch but Kilpatrick pushes him off.

and Kilpatrick counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jenkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jenkins doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kilpatrick counters with a slapping leg kick.
Jenkins is breathing heavily.

Jenkins ducks straight into an uppercut from Kilpatrick and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Jenkins manages to regain guard straight away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jenkins can't keep his opponent in guard - Kilpatrick advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kilpatrick drops an elbow to the side of Jenkins's head.
Kilpatrick is pressing down on Jenkins's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jenkins is holding on for now.

Kilpatrick seems to be looking for submissions.
Kilpatrick works his foot free and advances to mount.
Kilpatrick fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Kilpatrick content just to control the position here.
Jenkins is desperately trying to improve his position but Kilpatrick has a good base and remains in mount.

Jenkins is squirming around, avoiding Kilpatrick's attempts to control the action.
Kilpatrick prevents Jenkins from getting the reversal.
Kilpatrick cracks Jenkins with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Leeeeooooooorrrrrryyyyy Jenkins's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Leeeeooooooorrrrrryyyyy Jenkins's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Luke Kilpatrick really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that CEC Nutrition Q160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
