The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sau Sei fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lockley on the side of the head.
Kevin Lockley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sau Sei takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sau Sei moves out of range of the body kick from Lockley.
Lockley misses with a few strikes there.

Lockley avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sau Sei throws a shot from downtown. Lockley moves away and avoids it.
Sau Sei moves out of range of the body kick.

Sau Sei has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lockley.
Sau Sei takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Lockley just misses with a punch to the body.
Lockley is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Sau Sei tries to work over Lockley's front leg with a kick but Lockley checks it.
Lockley throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Sau Sei on the side of the head.
Lockley looks for the body kick but Sau Sei saw that one coming.

Lockley throws a front kick that sends Sau Sei stumbling back into the cage.
Sau Sei is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lockley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sau Sei crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lockley - the referee stops the clock and Sau Sei gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lockley. Sau Sei manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Lockley swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sau Sei avoids a kick to the body.
Sau Sei throws the left hand but Lockley avoids the punch easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Both fighters circling a little - Lockley finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Lockley dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sau Sei. That did some damage!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lockley wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Lockley cracks Sau Sei with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sau Sei looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Lockley finish him?
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Sau Sei drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Lockley fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sau Sei has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lockley has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Lockley feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sau Sei's calf.
Lockley looks to score with a jab to the body but Sau Sei is just out of range.
Lockley swats away the attempt to clinch by Sau Sei.
Lockley throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Sau Sei gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Sau Sei tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Lockley is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Sau Sei buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Sau Sei!! Sau Sei is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Lockley throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
