Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eiji Tate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Ottway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Ottway is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eiji Tate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Ottway!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ottway has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ottway prevents Tate from breaking the clinch.
Tate tries to circle away but Ottway has him pinned against the cage.
Tate can't find room to land a body shot as Ottway controls the action.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ottway creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ottway is trying to break free.
Ottway prevents Tate from breaking the clinch.
Ottway wants a takedown.
Ottway looking to stall.
Tate tries to break free but Ottway pushes him back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Tate's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Ottway jumps guard but Tate turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Ottway jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tate walks away with a smile on his face. Ottway gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Eiji Tate has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Ottway.
Ottway fails with an attempt to clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tate scores with a nice right hand.
Tate lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Ottway out cold! Ottway is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Eiji Tate!
