Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Boxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dean comes into the arena with Eminem - Till I Collapse blaring out of the sound system. Joe Boxer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Boxer's guard.
Boxer looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Dean makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boxer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dean gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dean lands a nice short elbow.

Boxer is looking to control Dean's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Boxer avoid being mounted?
Dean wants to lay and pray for a moment but Boxer keeps working.
Boxer flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Boxer is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Dean scores with a couple of nice shots.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dean takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dean thows a huge punch but Boxer dodges it nicely.
Dean looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Dean lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Dean moves nicely into side control.
Boxer manages to work his way to half guard, despite Dean's best efforts.
Dean lands strikes from half guard.
Dean working over Boxer with some ground and pound. Boxer looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Dean works his foot free and advances to mount.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dean pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Boxer is rocked!
Boxer really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Boxer is still in real trouble! Can Dean finish him?
The referee warns Boxer that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Dean dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Boxer misses with a hook. Dean ducked under it nicely.
Dean changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Boxer tries to avoid it but Dean manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Boxer to the ground. Boxer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dean darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Dean tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boxer swivels and escapes.
Boxer lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
No joy there for Boxer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dean missing with a left hand there. Boxer was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddie Dean. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dean fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Boxer to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Boxer looks to clinch but Dean throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Boxer taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Eddie Dean decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
