Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Furious George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George comes to the cage accompanied by Lamb of God - Descending. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Furious George!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mr Jiu Jitsu!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jiu Jitsu but Jiu Jitsu pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jiu Jitsu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
George throws a lazy right hand but Jiu Jitsu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jiu Jitsu tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. George manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
George stuns Jiu Jitsu with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
George misses with a takedown attempt - Jiu Jitsu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
George throws a body punch but Jiu Jitsu moves out of range.

George shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than George was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Jiu Jitsu is wriggling around trying to escape.
George wants to control the pace but Jiu Jitsu is squirming around nicely.
Jiu Jitsu tries to reverse the position but George maintains control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jiu Jitsu sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
George misses with a head shot. Jiu Jitsu uses the momentum to regain guard.

Jiu Jitsu wants to sweep but no luck.

George postures up in Jiu Jitsu's guard and throws a big left but Jiu Jitsu blocks it.

Jiu Jitsu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

George is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jiu Jitsu is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jiu Jitsu has escaped and now he's on top!

George is looking for a triangle here but Jiu Jitsu uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

George is looking to reverse the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jiu Jitsu is looking to take a break and control but George is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jiu Jitsu thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
George is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Furious George will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

George fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jiu Jitsu to the ground. George is now in Jiu Jitsu's guard.
George throws an elbow that misses. Jiu Jitsu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in George's guard. Nice move by Jiu Jitsu!
George manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jiu Jitsu manages to get himself to full guard.

Furious George overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
George stands up over Jiu Jitsu, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
George is fighting to break Jiu Jitsu's control of his arms but Jiu Jitsu is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Jiu Jitsu looking to hit a scissor sweep but George is one step ahead there.

That was a close second round but I would say that Furious George will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

George has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jiu Jitsu can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well George has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
