Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edward Louis Iii Severson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Marshall's choice of entrance music: I Shot the Sheriff by Eric Clapton. Edward Louis Iii Severson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Edward Louis Iii Severson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Riley Marshall!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshall dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Severson walks into a straight right hand from Marshall.
Severson closes the distance looking to clinch
and Marshall counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Marshall slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Marshall throws a right and a left that Severson avoids nicely.
Marshall moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Severson closes the distance but Marshall moves to the side
and Marshall counters with a straight right hand.
Severson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Nice body punch from Marshall.
Severson is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Marshall moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Riley Marshall!
In his post fight interview, Riley Marshall started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
