Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Eddie Brock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
22 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jokke Nappula!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nappula avoids the head kick by Brock.
Brock throws a hook to the side of Nappula's head but Nappula sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nappula throws a low kick but Brock moves out of range easily.
Nappula fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brock.
Brock misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A right-left combo lands from Brock.
Nappula takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Brock blocks a head kick by Nappula.
Brock takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Nappula ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nappula comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Brock fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nappula looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Brock throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Brock has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nappula.
Brock takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nappula connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nappula feints and then cracks Brock's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brock down.
Nappula throws a solid leg kick but Brock takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Nappula.
Brock slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Nappula avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nappula lands with a slapping head kick.
Brock throws a head kick that half lands.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brock tries to bum rush Nappula with a series of wild strikes but Nappula uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Brock takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nappula turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Nappula wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brock keeps working.
Nappula stalling away here and it's allowed Brock to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Brock wants to get back to his feet but Nappula is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jokke Nappula will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nappula misses with an uppercut. Brock saw that one coming.
Nappula misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Brock throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nappula counters with a stiff right hand.
Eddie Brock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brock is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Nappula moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
