Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bishop.
Bishop shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Oliveira as he avoids it easily.
Oliveira digs a good body shot into Bishop's ribs.
Bishop moves out of range as Oliveira strikes.
Bishop gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Oliveira keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bishop remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bishop tries to free his leg and advance position but Oliveira is retaining full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Bishop shoots in for a double leg but Oliveira sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Oliveira thuds his right hand into Bishop's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Bishop moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bishop shoots for a takedown but Oliveira saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Oliveira throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Oliveira might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Bishop tries to score a power double leg takedown but Oliveira sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bishop somewhat.
Bishop takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Oliveira lands a nice shot that snaps Bishop's head back.
Bishop looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Oliveira is fending him off so far but Bishop persists. Nope, Oliveira circles away and we're back to standing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A lazy left from Oliveira finds it's target.
A punch lands to the side of Bishop 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Oliveira throws a body punch but Bishop moves out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Oooooh!!! Oliveira has knocked Bishop down with a huge combo! Oliveira steps away and waves a wobbly Bishop back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Bishop is rocked!
Oliveira avoids the body shot from Bishop.
Oh Bishop is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bishop is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Oliveira moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wendell Oliveira!
