The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pee darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Esch could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Pee is nestled in close to Esch, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Pee works his way into side control. Pee staying calm.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Pee looks up at the clock and then as Esch takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pee smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
