Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Box (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mr Box has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Brandon Reid's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Brandon Reid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mr Box! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reid fails in his attempt to clinch. Reid tries for a takedown but Box circles away easily enabling Box to counter with a crisp jab. Box looks to land a right hand but Reid moved out of range. Reid shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Box as he avoids it easily. Reid fails with an attempt to clinch.
Reid with a lazy takedown attempt and Box counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Reid. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reid gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reid wants to break the clinch but can't.
Box goes for a takedown attempt but Reid pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

That's one minute gone in the round. Box throws a jab when Reid was well out of range. Box rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Reid counters with a one-two to the body. Box misses with a right hand and Reid counters with a series of strikes. Box will be more careful next time no doubt. A slow jab from Box misses its intended target. Reid dives in and grabs Box's left leg, looking for a takedown. Box pushes down on Reid's head and hops out. Reid shoots in but Box avoids the takedown attempt easily. Box circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reid fails in his attempt to clinch. Box throws a jab but it's blocked by Reid. Reid tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Box paws at him with a jab and circles away. Reid darts in and clinches Box up against the cage. Reid is fighting off a takedown attempt but Box is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Reid to the mat. Reid regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Box content to stall in guard here. Box stopping the sweep attempt from Reid. Reid working a defensive guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Box pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reid is keeping the position for now. Reid bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Box's guard. Box working a defensive guard here.
Reid knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Box on the ground. Reid wants to get up but he can't break Box's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Reid looking to sit in guard and control but Box gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reid wants to improve his position but instead Box has moved into half guard.
Reid throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Box wants to pass to mount but Reid is defending the position. The fighters are battling for position here. Reid manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Box controls from within his opponent's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reid not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mr Box dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Reid counters with a head kick. Reid tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Box paws at him with a jab and circles away. Reid lands with a good body shot. Reid closes the distance and clinches up with Box, looking for a takedown. Reid pushes Box against the cage but Box circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mr Box seems to be getting the better of the standup. Box on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Reid shoots and misses and Box counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Reid. That's going to take a lot out of him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reid doesn't succeed with the takedown and Box counters with a right hand that sends Reid tumbling to the canvas! Can Box finish him? He dives into Reid's guard looking to do just that!

It looks like Brandon Reid has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Box gets to his feet and stands over Reid, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Reid felt that one! Box unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Reid from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mr Box!
