Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Mott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wangjannoi Payakaroon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Payakaroon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by thai fight music. John Mott had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Payakaroon tries to clinch up.
John Mott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Payakaroon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mott throws out the jab.
Mott keeps the fight on the outside.
Mott throws a leg kick
and Payakaroon counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Payakaroon connects with a leg kick. Mott looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Payakaroon lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Payakaroon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Payakaroon tries to clinch up but Mott circles away and keeps his distance.

Mott tries to score with a low kick but Payakaroon moves his leg out of the way.

Mott tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Payakaroon was well out of range. Poor timing from Mott.

and Payakaroon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Payakaroon scores with a jab. Mott acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mott misses with a double jab
and Payakaroon counters with a thumping low kick.

Payakaroon moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Mott tries to keep at a distance but Payakaroon has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mott takes an elbow to the temple.
Payakaroon lands a nice knee to the body.

Payakaroon crunches a lovely knee into Mott's ribcage.
Payakaroon is stalling here.
Payakaroon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Good standup being displayed there by Payakaroon as he connects with a hook.
Payakaroon thuds a left hand into Mott's body.
Wangjannoi Payakaroon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Payakaroon has taken the fight to the clinch.

Payakaroon lands a nice knee to the body.
Payakaroon lands a hook that snaps the head of Mott backwards.
Payakaroon slowing the pace effectively.

Payakaroon content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Mott is trying to drag Payakaroon to the mat but Payakaroon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Payakaroon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Payakaroon lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mott takes a step back to recover.
Payakaroon wants to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Payakaroon doesn't manage to clinch there - Mott circles away.
Payakaroon bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mott's head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Some wild striking there from Mott.
Mott fails with a takedown attempt.
Mott has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Payakaroon.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Payakaroon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mott has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Payakaroon clinches up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wangjannoi Payakaroon dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Mott throws a low kick but Payakaroon moves out of range easily.
Mott is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Payakaroon.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mott crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Payakaroon - the referee stops the clock and Mott gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Payakaroon. Mott manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
A slapping leg kick lands for Payakaroon.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Payakaroon forces Mott back against the cage and clinches.
Mott is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Payakaroon lands a knee to the body.
Payakaroon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Whack! Payakaroon lands a heavy head kick that drops Mott. The ref tackles Payakaroon to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Mott was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Wangjannoi Payakaroon!
Wangjannoi Payakaroon seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
