And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lennox takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nice defenses there by Howard.
Howard swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lennox shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Howard comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Howard cracks Lennox with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lennox drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lennox trying to control the position from guard on top but Howard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Howard avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Lennox wants to control from the top but Howard keeps moving.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Howard can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lennox has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Howard is trying to hold Lennox in close to prevent damage but Lennox has managed to pass into half guard.

Lennox is trying to control. Howard wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Lennox is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Lennox looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Howard is not content to let Lennox control the position.

Lennox perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Howard blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lennox.
Lennox is keen to just control but Howard is a slippery customer.
Lennox working over Howard with some ground and pound. Howard looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Howard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lennox. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Howard is trying to maintain the position but Lennox is very close to passing his half guard.
Lennox lands strikes from half guard.

Lennox works his foot free and advances to mount.
Lennox controlling the position easily from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Howard tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lennox quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Lennox but it's paid off an Howard is forced to tap! Nice work by Lennox.
