The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pope lands the left hand.
Pope ducks under a wild hook from Mack.
Mack is looking to clinch but Pope is avoiding it.
Mack chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Mack moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A nice leg kick lands there from Pope.
Mack lands a nice shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pope lands a slapping body shot.
Mack scores with a jab to the body.
Mack punishes Pope's body with a nice straight punch.
Pope looks winded!
Nice body punch from Mack.
Good shot there by Mack.
It looks like Jesus Pope has been cut.
Mack tries to clinch up but Pope circles away and keeps his distance.
Mack scoring well with a low kick there.
A combination from Mack does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pope drops his hands for a split second and Mack immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Pope face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Mack follows up with a right hand that knocks Pope into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Xavier Mack!
Xavier Mack bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
