Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mark Munoz!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamat uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Munoz.
Nice takedown defense from Munoz. No joy for Mamat on that attempt.
Mamat ducks under a wild hook from Munoz.
Munoz lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Bang Mamat has been cut.
Munoz misses with an uppercut. Mamat saw that one coming.
Mamat shoots in for a takedown but Munoz shows good takedown defense.
Mamat fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Munoz avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bang Mamat. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Munoz leaves Mamat with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Munoz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Munoz throws a looping overhand right but Mamat ducks down to avoid it.
Mamat gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Munoz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mamat.
Munoz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mamat.
Mamat tries for a takedown but Munoz circles away easily
and Munoz counters with a good low kick that Mamat was not able to check.
Mamat shoots and misses
and Munoz counters with a crisp right hand that drops Mamat! Munoz lets Mamat back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Mamat is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Munoz lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Munoz drops Mamat with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Mamat! Munoz dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mark Munoz!
Mark Munoz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
