The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dominguez looking to score a takedown here. Leanord is defending well but Dominguez drives through and ends up in Leanord's guard.
Leanord is wriggling around but Dominguez manages to pass to half guard.
Leanord is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Dominguez jumps into side control!
Dominguez happy to just control the position for now.
Leanord is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Dominguez just content to control the position.

Dominguez stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Leanord shoots and misses

and Dominguez counters with a shoot takedown. Leanord fights it but they end up in guard.
Dominguez stays in close to Leanord's body and controls the position.
Leanord can't keep his opponent in guard - Dominguez advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
