Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Cool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler Wade looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, John Cool! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyler Wade! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cool shoots in and drives through. Wade sprawls well. Cool throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Wade moves to clinch but Cool breaks away and Cool moves into the clinch. Cool ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cool no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Wade trying to control but Cool is working from the bottom. Cool has his foot on Wade's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wade works his way back into a safe position though. Wade trying to control the position from guard on top but Cool is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cool has control of Wade's left arm, preventing Wade from doing any damage. Cool looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wade being controlled here momentarily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Wade throws a sloppy head kick and Cool moves out of range easily. Cool clinches up against the cage. Wade fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Cool manages to break the clinch.
Wade darts in trying to clinch and Cool counters with a series of strikes. Wade will be more careful next time no doubt. Cool lands a big head kick that sends Wade tumbling to the mat! Cool takes a step backwards and waves Wade back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wade is rocked!
It looks like Tyler Wade has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cool moves into the clinch successfully.

Wade looks winded! Cool gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cool missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Cool controlling the action here. Cool is looking to take a break and control but Wade is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cool in particular looking to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up because John Cool just wasn't active enough. Cool clinches. Cool lands a nice elbow. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Cool jumps into guard, dragging Wade to the mat.
Wade trying to control but Cool is working from the bottom. Wade stopping the sweep attempt from Cool. Wade trying to control the position from guard on top but Cool is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cool seems keen to control Wade's posture. Cool is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wade is aware though and is defending well. Wade looking to pass the guard. Cool wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Wade won't allow Cool to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wade tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cool paws at him with a jab and circles away. Cool throws a head kick but Wade moves out of range.

We're going to have a standup here because John Cool wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Cool throws a shot to the body.
Cool lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Cool looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Cool is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Cool seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wade for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cool won't allow Wade to get back to his feet. Cool is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Wade can do to turn this around? If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Cool is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cool controls from within his opponent's guard. Wade is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cool is controlling him.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cool manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Cool is looking to stand up but Wade isn't so interested in that idea. Cool scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.

Cool pushes Wade off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Cool clinches up with Wade and pushes him back against the cage. Cool keeps control of Wade as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Cool lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Wade.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cool's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Cool throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wade's waist but Wade gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cool off to one side. Cool takes the fight into the clinch. Wade fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Cool gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Wade is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cool is controlling him. Cool postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cool trying to control the position from guard on top but Wade is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wade is working an open guard so Cool takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Wade throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cool shoots in for a takedown but Wade shows good takedown defense. John Cool is winning the standup battle so far. Wade looks to clinch and Cool makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Wade really felt that one! Cool closes the distance and pushes Wade back into the cage. Cool drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wade pulls his leg out and moves away.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wade tries to clinch there but Cool circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cool throws a sloppy head kick and Wade counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cool is lucky that one didn't land flush. Wade tries to clinch there but Cool circles away.
Cool rushes Wade and presses him up against the cage. Cool escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cool closes the distance and clinches. Wade is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cool pulls him back up using the underhooks. Cool's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Cool pulls guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cool throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Cool seems keen to control Wade's posture. Cool tries to land a sweep but no joy. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Cool is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Cool is adopting a defensive guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wade trying to control the position from guard on top but Cool is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Cool works the jab nicely. Wade throws a sloppy head kick and Cool moves out of range easily. Cool clinches up against the cage. Wade jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cool walks away with a smile on his face. Wade gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Wade tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cool manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A head kick misses from Cool. Cool closes the distance and clinches. Cool breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cool fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wade, pushing him back against the cage. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Cool takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Cool pulls guard. Cool looking to sweep here. No luck so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cool avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Tyler Wade has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! John Cool is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Cool controlling Wade's posture.
And that's the end of the fight! John Cool showed his dominance in that final round. Well Cool has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
