Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darth Vader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Winter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vader comes to the cage accompanied by Imperial March. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winter shoots in and bounces Vader off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Vader looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Winter lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Vader is looking for a triangle but Winter pushes his legs off easily.
Winter must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Winter got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vader has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Winter has managed to get both his arms back between Vader's legs - danger averted.
Winter content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Vader had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Winter defends it easily.
Winter stands up over Vader, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Winter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Vader swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Vader is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Winter defends well.

Winter tries to free his leg and advance position but Vader is retaining full guard.

Winter thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Winter stands and throws Vader's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Winter lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Vader manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Winter is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Winter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vader with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Vader has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Winter is working away from the top position though.
Winter winds up and cracks Vader with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Winter seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Winter lands with a punch from half guard.
Winter looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Vader is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Winter pulls his head out easily.

Winter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Winter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Vader looking for a triangle here. Winter is fighting it but it looks tight! Vader pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Winter is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Darth Vader!
Post fight, an emotional Darth Vader said 'Wossup, ma niggas?'.
