Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Crazy Horse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Ivan Ko! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ko moves to clinch but Horse breaks away and Horse counters with a slapping leg kick. Horse fails in his attempt to clinch. Ko walks into a left hand. Ko steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Horse. Horse throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Horse tries to close the distance and clinch but Ko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Horse, right into the meat.
Nice defenses there by Horse. Ko ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Horse takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Horse fails in his attempt to clinch. Crazy Horse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horse swinging wildly here.
A head kick misses from Horse. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ko moves out of range of the strikes. Horse swats away the attempt to clinch by Ko.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horse tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ko was well out of range. Poor timing from Horse. Ko showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Horse.
Horse loads up on a big right hand but Ko slips the punch. Horse wants to clinch up but Ko keeps it at a distance. Nice defenses there by Horse. Horse tries to clinch but Ko is having none of it. Horse blocks a jab. Ko fails in his attempt to clinch. Horse is looking to clinch but Ko is avoiding it.
Ko connects with a right hand. Horse shakes it off. Ko slips a jab and a cross from Horse.
Ko clinches. Horse misses with a punch to the body.
Ko makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ko lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Horse backwards. Horse throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ko blocks it with crossed arms. Nice body punch from Ko. Ko managing to block the knees to the body from Horse.
Ko throws a punch but it's blocked by Horse. Ko is working Horse over against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Horse misses with a knee strike.
Ko scores with an uppercut up the middle. Horse tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Horse tries to land a knee to the head but Ko blocks with his arms.
Ko goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Horse tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ko avoids it. Ko pressing his opponent against the cage. Horse tries to throw a body punch but Ko avoids it by throwing Horse back against the cage. Ko has Horse pressed against the cage.

A right handed body shot lands from Ko.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Horse looking to throw knees to the head but Ko is blocking nicely.
Horse is breathing heavily. Ko blocks an uppercut.
Ko lands a shoulder strike. Ko tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Horse's elbow. A right handed body shot lands from Ko.
Ko gets through Horse's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Horse tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Ko misses with a punch to the body.
Ko misses with a body punch.
Ko lands a body punch in the clinch. Ko lands with a left to the head. Ko lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Horse tries to work over Ko's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Ko lands with a right to the head. Ko blocks a body shot from Horse. Ko lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Horse blocks an uppercut.
Horse tries to land a knee to the head but Ko blocks with his arms.
Ko lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ko can't find room to land a body shot as Horse controls the action.

Horse is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Ko. Oh Horse is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ko creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Horse with a big uppercut! Horse tries to clinch up but Ko pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Horse to the mat! Horse covers up and Ko unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
