Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Hooven is looking to clinch but Thomas is avoiding it.
Van Hooven bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Van Hooven cracks Thomas with a big elbow.
Van Hooven is working Thomas over with some ground and pound from side control.
Thomas tries to improve position but can't.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thomas sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thomas wants to control but Van Hooven is keeping busy.

Van Hooven is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Thomas is just riding it out for now. Van Hooven eventually gives up the hold.

It looks like Nate Thomas has been cut.

Thomas is looking to break free of the clinch but Van Hooven has double underhooks.

Van Hooven shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Thomas sprawls well. Thomas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Van Hooven gets slowly back to his feet.

Van Hooven shoots for a double leg takedown but Thomas sprawls well. He's pushed Van Hooven's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Van Hooven is trying to drag Thomas to the mat but Thomas just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Van Hooven ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Van Hooven no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Thomas is rocked!
Van Hooven softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Thomas is out cold! Van Hooven jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Petr Van Hooven!
An out of breath Petr Van Hooven thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
