Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jaquez Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronnie Jones is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jaquez Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ronnie Jones!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson tries to clinch but Jones is having none of it.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jackson takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Jones gets caught napping as Jackson dives in and scores a takedown. Jones manages to retain guard.
Jones thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Jackson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Jones will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jaquez Jackson.
