Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kala throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Virta sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kala looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Virta connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Kalle Kala has been cut.
Kala shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Virta sprawls well. Virta wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kala gets slowly back to his feet.
Kala with a nice cross.
Kala throws a shot from downtown. Virta moves away and avoids it.
Kala lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A telegraphed right hand from Kala misses the target.
Virta misses with a wild body shot.

Virta moves into the clinch successfully.
Kala can't break the clinch.

Virta keeps control of Kala as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Virta.

Kala's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kala moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Virta showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kala.
Kala throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kala throws a lazy right hand but Virta sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Kala missing with a left hand there. Virta was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Virta throws a nice looking combination but Kala bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Kala fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Virta sprawls well initially but Kala persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kala thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Virta's head.
Virta gets back to full guard.
Virta is looking to stand up but Kala isn't so interested in that idea.

Virta wants to stand but Kala is controlling the position.
Kala throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Virta works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Virta manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kala manages to get himself to full guard.

Kala escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Virta gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kala doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Kala can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Virta controls the pace.
Kala is adopting a defensive guard.
Kala working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Virta doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Kala is tightening it up a little... Virta has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Virta reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Virta taps out! Nice BJJ there by Kala!
