Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mitrofan Ivanich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandr Kononov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitrofan Ivanich looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanich misses with a head kick.
Kononov wants to clinch
and Ivanich counters with a nice body kick.
Ivanich throws a solid leg kick but Kononov takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ivanich.
Kononov throws a jab when Ivanich was well out of range.
Kononov fails to land the takedown.
Kononov throws out a powerful jab.
Alexandr Kononov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kononov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ivanich is fending him off so far but Kononov persists. Nope, Ivanich circles away and we're back to standing.
Ivanich throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kononov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ivanich defends it nicely.

Kononov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ivanich pinned against the cage. Ivanich gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kononov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ivanich.
Ivanich misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Kononov gets the takedown into side control.
Ivanich gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Kononov landing strikes from the mount.
