Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Landry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bj Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landry on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Landry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Penn moves away.
Landry closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Penn's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Landry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Penn on the ground.
Landry wants to get up but he can't break Penn's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Landry tries to bum rush Penn with a series of wild strikes but Penn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Penn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Landry wants to advance to full mount but Penn doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Landry has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Penn to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Landry is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Penn pulls down on the head and he's put Landry to sleep! This one is all over!

A determined Bj Penn didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
