Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jebediah Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobcat Gremlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stewart comes to the cage accompanied by Momma Said Knock You Out. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jebediah Stewart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bobcat Gremlin! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gremlin waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Stewart. Gremlin tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Stewart manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Gremlin throws a leg kick but Stewart moved away. Stewart shoots in for a takedown but Gremlin shows good takedown defense. Stewart fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gremlin to the ground. Stewart is now in Gremlin's guard. Gremlin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stewart is one step ahead there. Stewart stands up from guard. Let's bang! Stewart slips a jab from Gremlin. Gremlin loads up on a big right hand but Stewart slips the punch. Stewart shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gremlin pinned against the cage. Gremlin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Stewart shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gremlin sprawls well. Gremlin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stewart gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jebediah Stewart. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stewart dives in and grabs Gremlin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gremlin pushes down on Stewart's head and hops out. Stewart is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gremlin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Stewart takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stewart keeps the fight on the outside. Stewart checks a leg kick. Gremlin tries to clinch but Stewart is having none of it. Stewart drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Stewart will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Stewart seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Gremlin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stewart. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Stewart loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stewart drops back looking for a leg! Gremlin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gremlin manages to kick Stewart off! Stewart jumps back into Gremlin's guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gremlin can do anything to dispel that myth. Stewart slips nicely into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stewart connects with a nice short shot to Gremlin's temple. Stewart throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Stewart lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stewart sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Gremlin defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stewart thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gremlin's head. Gremlin is defending against the submission attempts here by Stewart.

Gremlin looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stewart drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stewart sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gremlin's guard. Stewart missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Well, if Stewart is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Gremlin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stewart tries for a takedown but Gremlin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Gremlin throws the left hand but Stewart avoids the punch easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Stewart fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gremlin avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jebediah Stewart. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stewart closes the distance and pushes Gremlin back into the cage. Stewart tries for a takedown but Gremlin manages to get underhooks.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stewart has clasped his hands together around Gremlin's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gremlin dodges the ground and pound from Stewart.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gremlin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Stewart wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Gremlin is trying to work for a sweep but Stewart has mounted him! Gremlin is in a horrible position here. Stewart smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Stewart seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gremlin for as long as he can get away with. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gremlin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gremlin wants it to stay on the feet. Gremlin slaps away a takedown attempt from Stewart, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gremlin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stewart swats him away and circles back towards the center. Stewart uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gremlin. Stewart shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gremlin defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jebediah Stewart. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stewart shoots in and gets a takedown into Gremlin's guard. Stewart throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gremlin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jebediah Stewart overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gremlin wants to sweep but no luck. Stewart makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Stewart trying to control the position from guard on top but Gremlin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stewart trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stewart advances position into side control! Stewart stands up and we're back to a striking position. Bobcat Gremlin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gremlin takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Stewart shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Stewart fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Gremlin tries to clinch there but Stewart circles away.

Stewart pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Gremlin tumbling to the mat - Stewart dives into Gremlin's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stewart accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bobcat Gremlin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stewart in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Stewart postures up in Gremlin's guard and throws a big left but Gremlin blocks it. Stewart trying to control but Gremlin is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stewart content to stall in guard here. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stewart accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gremlin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Stewart throws a big elbow that misses. Stewart scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Gremlin trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Stewart is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Stewart throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gremlin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Stewart passes Gremlin's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stewart missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Stewart looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Stewart seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Stewart not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stewart looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gremlin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stewart thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Stewart lands strikes from half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jebediah Stewart showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stewart, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
