Joaquin fails to land the takedown.

Hashimoto closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Joaquin did well to prevent Hashimoto getting side control.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Joaquin is looking for a sweep. Hashimoto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hashimoto is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Joaquin has managed to free his arm - good work.

Hashimoto trying to control from Joaquin's half guard. Joaquin has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Hashimoto wanted to stand there but Joaquin had control of the position.
