The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes fails with a takedown attempt.
Holmes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Johnson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Johnson tries for a takedown but Holmes manages to get underhooks.

Johnson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Holmes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Holmes is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Stuart Johnson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Holmes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Holmes wants it to stay on the feet.

Johnson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
