Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jay Hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Hopkins!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopkins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hunter throws out the jab.
Hunter just misses with a punch to the body.
Hopkins staying out of range there.
A clash of legs there as Hopkins blocks the low kick.
Hopkins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

That's time! Hunter's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hopkins is defended easily by Hunter.

so Hopkins counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hunter is trying to control the position but Hopkins postures up.
Hunter is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hopkins is aware though and is defending well.
Hopkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hunter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
