With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nate Tua!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King wants to clinch up but Tua keeps it at a distance.
King is looking to clinch but Tua is avoiding it.
Tua keeps the fight on the outside.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

King fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tua, pushing him back against the cage.
King scores with an uppercut up the middle.
King lands a right hand that snaps the head of Tua backwards.
King doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Tua has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Tua's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
King is looking to break free of the clinch but Tua has double underhooks.
King on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
King makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
King lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
King works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tua is trying to maintain a safe position but King gets an underhook and turns Tua into the cage.
Tua tries to throw a body punch but King avoids it by throwing Tua back against the cage.

King wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Tua has him pressed against the cage.

King drives through and clinches with Tua against the cage.

King lands with a short shot to the head.
King creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Tua with a big uppercut! Tua tries to clinch up but King pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Tua to the mat! Tua covers up and King unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). David King!
David King spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
