The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Morgan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Matoshin circles away quickly and effectively.
Morgan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Matoshin lands a nice shot that snaps Morgan's head back.
Matoshin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Morgan.
Matoshin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Morgan slips under a jab from Matoshin.
Morgan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Morgan misses with a straight left.
A right-left combo lands from Matoshin.
It looks like Kip Morgan has been cut.
Matoshin lands with a right hand.
Morgan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Matoshin.
Morgan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Morgan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Matoshin throws a lazy right hand but Morgan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Matoshin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Morgan tries a head kick but it misses.
Matoshin thows a left - swing and a miss!
Morgan tries to move into range but Matoshin moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Matoshin lands with a kick to the ribs.
Morgan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Matoshin circles away quickly and effectively.
Matoshin circles away from the clinch attempt
and Morgan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Morgan is rocked!
Morgan throws a hook but Matoshin blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Matoshin lands a head shot.
Morgan is still on wobbly legs! Can Matoshin finish him?
Nice uppercut lands for Matoshin. That snapped Morgan's head back.
Matoshin throws a looping overhand right but Morgan ducks down to avoid it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Morgan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Matoshin throws an overhand right that drops Morgan like a sack of potatoes! Matoshin dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Toshi Matoshin!
A relieved looking Toshi Matoshin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
