Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Okin Slavas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slavas comes into the arena with WolfMother blaring out of the sound system. Okin Slavas is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Simon Baker!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slavas closes the distance and clinches up with Baker, looking for a takedown. Slavas pushes Baker against the cage but Baker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Baker is defended easily by Slavas.
Baker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Baker looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Slavas!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Slavas tries to hold on but Baker postures up.
Slavas is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Baker is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Baker tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

That was a close round but I would say that Okin Slavas will probably get the nod.
That's time! Slavas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Baker counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Slavas tries for a takedown but Baker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Slavas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Baker wants to hit a switch here but Slavas passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Baker there!
Slavas throws a sloppy strike and Baker uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Baker has ended up in Slavas's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Okin Slavas will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Slavas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Baker ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
No luck for Baker with that takedown attempt.
Baker misses with a double jab.
Baker doesn't manage to clinch there - Slavas circles away.
Slavas throws a series of punches but Baker moves out of range.
A combination from Baker does no damage.
Slavas misses with an uppercut.
Baker takes one to the chin there.
Baker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Baker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slavas's waist but Slavas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baker off to one side.
Slavas throws a jab when Baker was well out of range.
Slavas misses with an uppercut
so Baker counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Slavas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Baker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Baker won't allow Slavas to sweep him here.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Slavas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Okin Slavas just wasn't active enough.

Baker shoots for a double leg takedown but Slavas sprawls well. He's pushed Baker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Slavas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Baker.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slavas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Baker napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Okin Slavas showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Slavas has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
