The crowd seem to be enjoying Yadav's choice of entrance music: Shayad. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarado displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Yadav.
Alvarado throws a series of punches but Yadav avoids them all with ease.
Yadav fails with a takedown attempt.
Alvarado defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Yadav.
Drew Alvarado has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anaconda Yadav.

Yadav darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Yadav is looking for a kimura but Alvarado is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Yadav to get the leverage.

Yadav wants to work for an arm triangle but Alvarado is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Yadav has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Alvarado defend it? Yadav steps over the head and cranks it - Alvarado is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Yadav!
