Sloppy strikes from Ache. Those never looked like landing.
Karelin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Karelin shoots in for a takedown but Ache shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Karelin checks a leg kick.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Karelin is posturing up here but Ache has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Karelin tries to roll out but it's too tight and Karelin has to tap! Slick submission there by Ache!
