Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Reaper Sickle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prime Caberra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prime Caberra is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reaper Sickle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Prime Caberra!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Caberra looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Caberra is keen to just control but Sickle is a slippery customer.
Sickle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sickle tries to get out of the position.
Sickle looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sickle tries to get to full guard but Caberra has control of the leg.
The fighters are battling for position here. Sickle manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Caberra trying to control but Sickle is working from the bottom.
Sickle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Caberra works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Sickle wants to get back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Caberra tries to pass to full mount but Sickle defends it.
Sickle is not content to let Caberra control the position.
Caberra prevents Sickle from improving his position.
Sickle wants to control but Caberra is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Sickle makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Sickle.
Caberra trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Caberra thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Sickle has Caberra up against the cage in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Caberra drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sickle pulls his leg out and moves away.
Caberra closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sickle counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Caberra thinking.
Caberra looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Caberra looks gassed!
Sickle works over Caberra's head and body with a nice combination.
Caberra should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sickle shoots in for a takedown and gets it.


Caberra is rocked!
Sickle lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Caberra is still in real trouble! Can Sickle finish him?

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sickle looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Caberra with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Caberra has hold of Sickle's hands but Sickle slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sickle scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Sickle prevents Caberra from improving his position.
Sickle looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Caberra moves into full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Caberra utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sickle postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Sickle postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Caberra covers up, he's hurt! Sickle keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Sickle and the ref steps in to end the fight! Sickle can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reaper Sickle!
