Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Angry Jabberwocky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dhal Sim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sim has chosen Otherside by Red Hot Chili Pepper as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Angry Jabberwocky! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dhal Sim! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jabberwocky throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Jabberwocky misses with a looping left. Jabberwocky misses the shot to the body. Jabberwocky throws a poor cross that misses
and Sim counters with a low kick, right behind Jabberwocky 's knee. Jabberwocky throws a poor cross that misses
and Sim counters with a nice low kick that buckles Jabberwocky's knee momentarily. Sim throws a low kick but Jabberwocky avoids it. Sim moves forwards but Jabberwocky connects with a nice, crisp jab. Jabberwocky misses with a shot to the body and Sim makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Jabberwocky throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sim thuds his shin into the meat of Jabberwocky's side. Jabberwocky is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sim attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Sim tries a head kick but it misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sim shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Sim throws a leg kick but Jabberwocky checks it. Sim throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Sim throws out a leg kick but Jabberwocky moves out of range and Sim only half commits. A looping hook to the body misses from Jabberwocky. Sim does a little dance to reset his feet. Jabberwocky throws a body punch but Sim moves out of range. Jabberwocky scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Sim keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jabberwocky. Dhal Sim is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jabberwocky scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jabberwocky is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sim. Jabberwocky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sim was well out of range. Poor timing from Jabberwocky. Jabberwocky swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Jabberwocky. A leg kick checked by Jabberwocky. Jabberwocky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sim feints and then cracks Jabberwocky's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jabberwocky down. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice defenses there by Sim. Sim tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Jabberwocky misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jabberwocky is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sim's half guard. Sim wants to get back to his feet.
Jabberwocky trying to control the pace. Sim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jabberwocky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jabberwocky thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sim is trying to stand back up but Jabberwocky is controlling him
Jabberwocky tries to pass to full mount but Sim defends it. Jabberwocky throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Jabberwocky has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sim has hold of Jabberwocky's hands but Jabberwocky slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jabberwocky throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Jabberwocky missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dhal Sim will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jabberwocky misses with a looping left. Sim uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jabberwocky. Sim ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Jabberwocky shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sim sprawls well. Sim wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jabberwocky gets slowly back to his feet. Jabberwocky throws a lazy uppercut
and Sim counters with a thumping low kick. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jabberwocky, as that shot connected.
Sim keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jabberwocky walks into a stiff left hand from Sim. Sim motions for Jabberwocky to come forward. Sim throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sim lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Angry Jabberwocky has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jabberwocky swings for the body but Sim moves out of range.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Sim enables Jabberwocky to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sim manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Jabberwocky throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sim works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jabberwocky connects with a couple of short punches. Sim preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jabberwocky missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sim can do anything to dispel that myth. Jabberwocky is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jabberwocky is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Sim wants to stand and escape but Jabberwocky is having none of it. Jabberwocky working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jabberwocky pushing down on Sim's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jabberwocky sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sim defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jabberwocky is figuring out what he wants to do next. Jabberwocky is nestled in close to Sim, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Jabberwocky takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Angry Jabberwocky has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Sim stuffs the takedown. Jabberwocky misses with a wild body shot. Sim throws a leg kick that misses. Jabberwocky throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sim counters with a body kick that stops Jabberwocky in his tracks momentarily. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sim, right into the meat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jabberwocky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sim is looking to score with low kicks. Sim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Angry Jabberwocky will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Angry Jabberwocky's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Jabberwocky checks a leg kick nicely. Jabberwocky swings for the body but Sim moves out of range.
Jabberwocky cracks Sim with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Jabberwocky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sim moves away. Sim throws a chopping leg kick but Jabberwocky manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Sim buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Sim tries to land a front kick but Jabberwocky steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Sim keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sim is looking to chop away at Jabberwocky's legs. Sim takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sim misses with a low kick as Jabberwocky jumps back. Jabberwocky thows a body shot but no joy. Sim fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Jabberwocky scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Jabberwocky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sim was well out of range. Poor timing from Jabberwocky. Sim explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. A solid leg kick lands there for Sim.
Sim connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Jabberwocky to the floor! Sim dives in looking for the finish!
Jabberwocky is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jabberwocky wants to control but Sim is keeping busy and won't allow it. Oh Jabberwocky is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sim stands up from half guard. Jabberwocky seems to have got his legs back now. Jabberwocky just misses with a punch to the body.
Jabberwocky has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sim. Sim slips under a jab from Jabberwocky. Jabberwocky checks a leg kick. Sim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jabberwocky lands a lovely overhand right. Angry Jabberwocky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jabberwocky closes the distance and clinches up with Sim, looking for a takedown. Jabberwocky pushes Sim against the cage but Sim circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sim slips under a jab. A low kick from Sim is predictable there and Jabberwocky counters with a left to the body. Dhal Sim seems to be getting the better of the standup. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sim lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jabberwocky has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jabberwocky and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Sim on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jabberwocky misses with a body punch
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Jabberwocky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sim finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A shot to the body from Jabberwocky misses and Sim cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Sim bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jabberwocky is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Jabberwocky gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jabberwocky connects with the punch. Sim tries to land a front kick but Jabberwocky steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sim takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Sim throws a sloppy head kick and Jabberwocky moves out of range easily. Sim throws a leg kick but Jabberwocky moved away.
And that's the end of the fight! Dhal Sim comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sim has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
