Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kid Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Chestnut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vera comes to the cage accompanied by You are just a JOKE!. Chestnut has chosen Albatross, Albatross, Albatross as his entrance music. Chestnut has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Walter Chestnut has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Chestnut looks winded!

Vera throws a right and a left that Chestnut avoids nicely.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Vera, as that shot connected.
Chestnut takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Kid Vera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vera scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vera throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Chestnut.
Vera lands a head kick. Chestnut smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Vera lands with a kick to the temple. Chestnut shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Vera lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Vera lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Vera.

Vera works over Chestnut's head and body with a nice combination.
Vera throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Vera lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Chestnut takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Vera lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Vera is working the combinations to good effect here.
Vera tests Chestnut's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Chestnut tries to move into range but Vera moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Vera works the jab nicely.

Chestnut on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Kid Vera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vera throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Vera throws a front kick that sends Chestnut stumbling back into the cage.

Chestnut is rocked!
The fighters circle, before Vera throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Chestnut's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Vera lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Kid Vera!
Kid Vera really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Steel Penn's Laundry 93% logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
