Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon Maes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). David comes to the cage accompanied by The Who - Baba O'Riley. Leon Maes will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maes looks to land a combination but David avoids it well.
Maes falls off balance throwing a combination
and David counters with an inside leg kick.
A punch combination from Maes misses.
David steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Maes.
Maes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Maes throws a nice looking combination but David bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Maes throws a left and a right that both miss
and David moves into the clinch.
Maes swings away with an uppercut that misses.
David escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
David takes a shot right to the bread basket.
David misses with a series of wild punches.
Maes lands a nice looking body shot.

Maes throws a leg kick which misses David's front leg but catches the back leg as David tries to avoid it.
Maes throws a low kick but David avoids it.
A left and a right from Maes both land. Nice combination.
Maes throws a series of punches but David avoids them all with ease.
Maes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Leon Maes is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Maes jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Maes throws a nice looking combination but David bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

and David counters with a nice body shot.
Maes misses with a low kick.
Maes stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Maes scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and David counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
David changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Maes looks winded!
Nice defenses there by David.
David shoots in but Maes avoids the takedown attempt easily.
David lands a jab-cross combination.

Maes tries to land a leg kick but David saw it coming and moves away.

Maes throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and David counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
David breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
David throws a hook but Maes avoids it easily.
A jab from Maes misses.
David scores with a shot to the body.
David moves forwards but Maes connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A slapping leg kick lands for Maes.
Maes throws a nice looking combination but David bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Maes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by David.
Maes throws a series of punches but David moves out of range.
Maes misses with a combination
and Maes takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Maes doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from David! Maes is out on his feet! David rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Maes is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Maes is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
