The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ammo is looking to clinch.
Fox steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ammo. That one must have hurt.
Fox shoots in but Ammo avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Ammo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Fox is looking to work some ground and pound but Ammo has wrist control.

Fox is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ammo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ammo has escaped and now he's on top!

Ammo tries to close the distance and clinch but Fox swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Fox avoids a kick to the body.

Ammo moves into range and clinches up with Fox.
Fox wants to take the fight to the mat but Ammo manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Fox jumps guard but Ammo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Ammo lands with a light punch inside.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Fox tries to pull guard but Ammo won't allow it.
Kirk Ammo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael Fox.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Ammo decides to pull guard.
Ammo is looking to stand up but Fox isn't so interested in that idea.
Ammo pulls Fox in close to prevent any damage.

Fox drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ammo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fox has Ammo in his guard.

Ammo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fox throws out the jab.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Fox lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Ammo backwards.
Kirk Ammo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Fox jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ammo walks away with a smile on his face. Fox gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
