Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ben Jammin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Sarchet!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sarchet thows a body shot but no joy.
A head kick from Sarchet lands but Jammin takes it in his stride.


It looks like Ben Jammin has been cut.
David Sarchet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sarchet throws a combination that misses

and Jammin moves into the clinch.

Sarchet escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A combination from Sarchet does no damage.
Jammin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sarchet fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jammin on the side of the head.
Jammin with a poor takedown
and Sarchet counters with a head kick. That will keep Jammin thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Jammin avoids the body shot from Sarchet.
Jammin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sarchet but Sarchet pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Jammin shoots in but Sarchet avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Jammin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jammin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Sarchet quickly recovers to half guard.
Sarchet tries to kick Jammin off but Jammin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Jammin wants to control but Sarchet is keeping him busy.
Sarchet keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jammin prevents Sarchet from standing back up.

Jammin is working for a kimura but Sarchet is defending it quite comfortably.
Jammin is trying to control the action in half guard but Sarchet is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Jammin is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Sarchet tries to kick Jammin off but Jammin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jammin wants to pass to mount but Sarchet is defending the position.

Sarchet is trying to stand.
Sarchet looks winded!
Sarchet avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Jammin.
Jammin is looking to take a break and control but Sarchet is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A punch combination from Sarchet misses.
A head kick misses from Sarchet.
Sarchet misses with a double jab.

Jammin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sarchet to the mat! Sarchet manages to get full guard.
Sarchet can't keep his opponent in guard - Jammin advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Jammin is trying to control. Sarchet wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but David Sarchet will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ben Jammin's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Jammin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sarchet's half guard.
Sarchet really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jammin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sarchet looks like he's trying to stand up.

Jammin seems to be looking for submissions.
Ben Jammin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Jammin moves nicely into side control.

Sarchet is pushing Jammin's head away, looking to escape. Jammin manages to hold on to the position though.

Jammin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sarchet, who protects the arm well.

Jammin has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Sarchet is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Jammin yanks on the arm and Sarchet is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Jammin.
