The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
KroKop blocks a jab.
Chara takes a kick to the side of the head.
Chara fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but KroKop is out of range.
Chara lunges at KroKop with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by KroKop's hand.
Chara blocks a head kick by KroKop.
Chara misses with a few strikes there.
Chara misses with a left hand
and KroKop counters with a nice uppercut.
KroKop bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
KroKop slips a jab from Chara.
Chara swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
KroKop takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Chara lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Chara feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits KroKops jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Zdeno Chara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

KroKop tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Chara avoids it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

KroKop avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Chara keeps the fight on the outside.
A telegraphed right hand from Chara misses the target.
KroKop lands a brutal head kick. Chara looks out on his feet and KroKop throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
