Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Giorgio Armanoviz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalana Kawaanui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalana Kawaanui has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawaanui tries to clinch there but Armanoviz circles away.
Armanoviz clinches up with Kawaanui and pushes him back against the cage.
Armanoviz lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Armanoviz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kawaanui is just riding it out for now. Armanoviz eventually gives up the hold.
Armanoviz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Armanoviz in particular looking to stall.

Armanoviz's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Armanoviz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Armanoviz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Kawaanui really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Armanoviz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
