Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Rotten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Sokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rotten comes to the cage accompanied by White Zombie - More Human Than Human. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sokka's choice of entrance music: Black Sun Aeon - Core of Winter. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Antti Sokka was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnny Rotten! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Antti Sokka! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sokka walks into a jab. Rotten has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sokka. Sokka closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rotten to the mat! Rotten manages to get full guard. Sokka advances position into side control! Sokka looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Rotten is avoiding damage well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rotten managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Sokka.
Sokka is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rotten knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Sokka advances nicely into full mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sokka prevents Rotten from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sokka controlling the pace for now. Sokka goes for an armbar but Rotten turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Rotten. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rotten working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sokka keeping moving, preventing Rotten from controlling successfully. Sokka manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Sokka can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rotten is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sokka scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Sokka looking to control but Rotten is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sokka is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Sokka tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Rotten's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Sokka looking to control but Rotten is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Sokka punishing his opponent with strikes. Sokka goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rotten turns into him and now he's in Sokka's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rotten has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sokka is proving hard to escape from. Rotten sitting in guard, not really doing much. Sokka controls Rotten momentarily but Rotten frees himself. Rotten throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sokka preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sokka looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Sokka is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antti Sokka dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A good leg kick by Sokka. Sokka throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sokka instigates a clinch. Sokka is trying to pull guard but Rotten turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Sokka tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Johnny Rotten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antti Sokka. Rotten has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Rotten is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Rotten can't break the clinch.
Rotten wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Sokka jumps into guard, dragging Rotten to the mat.
Rotten throws a big right hand that misses. Rotten trying to control the position from guard on top but Sokka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rotten sitting in guard, not really doing much. Rotten has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rotten looking to sit in guard and control but Sokka gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rotten not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Sokka trying to control but Rotten is working from the bottom. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Sokka stays in close to Rotten's body and controls the position. Sokka is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rotten is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rotten has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rotten tries to free his leg and advance position but Sokka is retaining full guard. Antti Sokka has got the better of the ground game so far. Rotten is pushing down on Sokka's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sokka is fighting to maintain full guard but Rotten has managed to sneak the leg through. The fighters are battling for position here. Sokka manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Rotten postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Rotten wanted to stand there but Sokka had control of the position. Rotten wants to pass the guard but Sokka is keeping the position. Rotten working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sokka's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rotten is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Sokka keeping moving, preventing Rotten from controlling successfully. Rotten postures up in Sokka's guard and throws a big left but Sokka blocks it. Rotten throws a big right hand that misses. Rotten wants to control from the top but Sokka keeps moving. Sokka bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rotten's guard. Sokka trying to control but Rotten is working from the bottom. Sokka looking to sit in guard and control but Rotten gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sokka pulls Rotten in to control the position. Sokka tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sokka preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sokka looking for a sweep. Not yet Sokka, not yet. Rotten scoring with some ground and pound. Rotten trying to control but Sokka is working from the bottom. Rotten stopping the sweep attempt from Sokka. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rotten throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sokka works some decent striking defense from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnny Rotten dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Rotten scores with a push kick. Sokka throws the kick towards the body but Rotten avoids it. Rotten looks to land a body kick but Sokka moved away. Sokka closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rotten circles away. Nice body kick from Rotten. A solid leg kick lands there for Sokka.
Sokka swings away with a leg kick that misses. Sokka throws a leg kick but Rotten checks it. Sokka motions for Rotten to come forward. Sokka throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Rotten throws a jab when Sokka was well out of range. Sokka is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rotten sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Rotten tries a head kick but it misses.
Sokka fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Johnny Rotten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antti Sokka. Sokka thows a leg kick but Rotten checks it and Rotten counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jab by Sokka.

A big right from Rotten misses. Rotten lands a nice looking body shot.
Sokka checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Sokka fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rotten. Antti Sokka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sokka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Rotten has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sokka. Sokka throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Sokka does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Sokka scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Rotten is pressing down on Sokka's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Sokka looking to sit in guard and control but Rotten gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Rotten trying to control but Sokka is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rotten missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rotten drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sokka looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sokka looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sokka! Rotten prevents Sokka from improving position. Sokka wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rotten, who protects the arm well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sloppy strikes there by Sokka. Sokka is looking to take a break and control but Rotten is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rotten dodges the ground and pound from Sokka.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sokka looks up at the clock and then as Rotten takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sokka smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sokka looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Sokka controlling the position. Sokka is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rotten knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rotten regains half guard, as Sokka was trying to land strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Antti Sokka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sokka has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
