The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estrella looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Traff is fending him off so far but Estrella persists. Nope, Traff circles away and we're back to standing.
Estrella throws a series of punches but Traff moves out of range.
Traff wants to clinch.
Danga de danga de dang - Traff scores with a four punch combination!
Estrella gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
The fighters circling - Traff throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Estrella takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Estrella looks gassed!

Traff feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Estrella is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Estrella is trying to control the position but Traff postures up.
Estrella is pulling down on Traff's head to control his posture.
Traff wanted to stand there but Estrella had control of the position.
Traff wants to stand and escape but instead Estrella has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Traff is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Estrella is in close to Traff's body, working some short punches and elbows.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Estrella uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Traff.
Traff moves in looking to clinch but Estrella pushes him off.
Estrella shoots and misses
and Traff counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Tony Traff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leon Estrella.

Estrella is looking to control Traff but Traff is wriggling around and keeping busy.
