Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey The Dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ippo Makunouchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ippo Makunouchi!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Dude tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Makunouchi swivels and escapes.
Nice body punch from Makunouchi.
Makunouchi bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
The Dude looking to score a takedown here. Makunouchi is defending well but The Dude drives through and ends up in Makunouchi's guard.
Makunouchi utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The Dude won't allow Makunouchi to sweep him here.
The Dude has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Makunouchi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The Dude manages to get himself to full guard.
Makunouchi looking to sit in guard and control but The Dude gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The Dude passes into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The Dude looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Makunouchi is not content to let The Dude control the position.
The Dude is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Makunouchi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time The Dude.
The Dude looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Makunouchi is looking to control The Dude's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Makunouchi avoid being mounted?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Makunouchi pushes The Dude off and gets back to his feet.
Makunouchi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
The Dude doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Makunouchi counters with a two punch combo.
The Dude shoots in but Makunouchi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeffrey The Dude. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Makunouchi stuffs the takedown attempt from The Dude. The Dude gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Dude shoots for a takedown but Makunouchi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The Dude looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Makunouchi connects with a single shot there.
The fighters circle momentarily. Makunouchi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Makunouchi slips under a jab from The Dude.
Makunouchi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The Dude shoots and misses
and Makunouchi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Makunouchi scores with the left hand. The Dude knows he should have avoided that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Makunouchi counters with a straight right hand.

and Makunouchi counters with a straight that turns The Dude's legs to rubber! Makunouchi pushes forward with more strikes and The Dude goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
