Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jack Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt has chosen Cold Blooded as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown has his takedown stuffed
and Hunt counters with a left to the body.
Hunt feints and then cracks Brown's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brown down.
An inside leg kick lands from Hunt.
Brown avoids the head kick by Hunt.
Hunt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hunt throws a head kick that misses.

Hunt does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hunt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brown.

Brown moves out of range of the body kick from Hunt.
Brown stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hunt.
Hunt throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hunt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brown.
Brown shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hunt as he avoids it easily.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Brown. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Brown looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hunt is fending him off so far but Brown persists. Nope, Hunt circles away and we're back to standing.

Hunt throws his legs up looking for a submission but Brown uses it to pass to side control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hunt shoots for a double leg takedown but Brown sprawls well. He's pushed Hunt's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Good leg kick by Hunt there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brown crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hunt - the referee stops the clock and Brown gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hunt. Brown manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hunt circles away quickly and effectively.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hunt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jack Brown.
I think Brown has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
