Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rick Steen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aldos is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sobota-raczej. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Steen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Aldos manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Steen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Aldos on his heels. He'll look to pass Aldos's guard now, I'm sure.

Aldos tries to keep at a distance but Steen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Steen is looking to control Aldos's arms but Aldos gets an underhook and turns him. Now Steen has his back to the cage.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Steen has picked Aldos up - he's going for a ride! Steen dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jose Aldos hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Aldos tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Steen swivels and escapes.
Jose Aldos is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Steen has Aldos up against the cage in a clinch.
Steen is trying to push Aldos away but Aldos has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Steen has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Steen tightens his grip and picks Aldos up, before dumping him to the ground. Aldos manages to land in guard.
Steen wants to get up but he can't break Aldos's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
