Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oscar Kline! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lemmy Krusic! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kline throws a chopping leg kick but Krusic manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Krusic looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Krusic avoids the head kick by Kline.
Krusic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Krusic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kline's waist but Kline gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Krusic off to one side. Krusic fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kline avoids it really well and circles away. Oscar Kline has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lemmy Krusic. Kline has Krusic up against the cage in a clinch.
Kline's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Kline escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kline moves into the clinch. Kline tries to throw a body punch but Krusic avoids it by throwing Kline back against the cage. Kline pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Krusic tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Kline looks to throw an elbow but misses. Kline manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Krusic is pressed up against the cage. Kline has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Krusic down to the mat. Krusic avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kline moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Kline stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kline wants it to stay on the feet. Kline clinches with his opponent.
Kline's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kline throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Krusic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Kline has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kline fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kline has Krusic pushed against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kline tries to throw a body punch but Krusic avoids it by throwing Kline back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Krusic as Kline tries to tie him up. Kline gets control of Krusic's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kline will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Krusic passes easily into side control. Nice work. Krusic working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Krusic looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kline wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Krusic is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kline has escaped the position, nice work there. Kline is pushing Krusic's head away, looking to escape. Krusic manages to hold on to the position though. Kline knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krusic on the ground. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Krusic is putting a hurting on Kline here, landing some big shots from side control. Krusic stands up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oscar Kline dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Krusic takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Krusic misses with a takedown and Kline counters with a head kick. Lemmy Krusic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Krusic doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kline counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krusic looks for a takedown but Kline sprawls well. Oscar Kline has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lemmy Krusic. Krusic avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Krusic is breathing heavily. Kline moves into the clinch successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kline stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Nice takedown defense from Krusic. No joy for Kline on that attempt. Kline fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Krusic, pushing him back against the cage. A nice right hand lands inside from Kline. Kline misses with a punch to the body.
Kline tries to work over Krusic's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kline slowing the pace effectively. Kline misses with a hook to the ribs.
Kline changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Krusic fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krusic shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Krusic is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kline defends it well. Krusic decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kline darts in and clinches Krusic up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kline escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Krusic is defended easily by Kline. Kline shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Krusic as he jumps to the side. Krusic tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kline swivels and escapes. Kline keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kline drives through and clinches with Krusic against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kline has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Krusic avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Kline gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Krusic.
Kline wants a takedown but no success here.
Kline looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kline swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Krusic tries to pull guard but Kline holds him up against the cage and eventually Krusic drops back down to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Krusic has Kline pressed against the cage, preventing Kline from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Kline working hard to break the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kline tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Krusic's elbow. Kline tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Krusic smiles and moves away.
Kline keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kline rushes Krusic and presses him up against the cage. Kline tries to break free but Krusic pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kline goes for a takedown in the clinch but Krusic prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oscar Kline. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Krusic pulls Kline into guard.
Krusic looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Krusic throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Kline looking to sit in guard and control but Krusic gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Krusic wants to control from the top but Kline keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kline utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Krusic stands up and waves to Kline to follow him. Krusic shoots for a double leg takedown but Kline sprawls well. He's pushed Krusic's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Krusic rushes Kline and presses him up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Krusic tries to pull guard but Kline holds him up against the cage and eventually Krusic drops back down to his feet.
Kline jumps guard and drags Krusic to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Krusic controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Krusic passes into half guard. Krusic drops an elbow to the side of Kline's head. Krusic is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Krusic stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Kline to get to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Krusic tries for a takedown but Kline sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Krusic misses with a wild body shot. Oscar Kline is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Kline works over Krusic's head and body with a nice combination. Kline moves into range and clinches up with Krusic. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kline wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kline tries to score a body lock takedown but Krusic shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Lemmy Krusic has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kline managing to block the knees to the body from Krusic.
And that's the end of the fight! Lemmy Krusic comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kline has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
