Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jimmy Sisphar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Franco Collumbo! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Collumbo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Collumbo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Sisphar is trying to defend but Collumbo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Collumbo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sisphar's head. Sisphar has hold of Collumbo's hands but Collumbo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Collumbo missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sisphar avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Collumbo. Collumbo working Sisphar over with strikes. Collumbo scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Collumbo lands with a punch from half guard. Collumbo sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sisphar defending well though.
That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Collumbo connects with a nice short shot to Sisphar's temple. Ground and pound from Collumbo. Sisphar is breathing heavily. Collumbo thows a huge punch but Sisphar dodges it nicely.

Collumbo working over Sisphar with some ground and pound. Sisphar looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Collumbo throwing shots but Sisphar is blocking nicely. Sisphar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Collumbo on the ground. Collumbo is nestled in close to Sisphar, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Collumbo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sisphar's head. Collumbo is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Collumbo scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Sisphar is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Collumbo working over Sisphar with some ground and pound. Sisphar looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Oh Sisphar is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Collumbo connects with a nice short shot to Sisphar's temple. Collumbo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nice strikes from Collumbo there. Collumbo moves nicely into side control. Collumbo lands a decent elbow from side control. Sisphar gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Collumbo with a couple of short strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sisphar takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Collumbo's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
