Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between King Marvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Tamad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marvin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, King of Kings by Motorhead. Tamad is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Joker. Juan Tamad will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Marvin blocks the low kick.
Tamad finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A jab from Marvin misses.
Marvin has a takedown stuffed.
Marvin tries to clinch there but Tamad circles away.
Marvin slips a straight right by Tamad.
Tamad throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Marvin throws out a powerful jab.
King Marvin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tamad connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Marvin momentarily.
Tamad throws a right hand that Marvin ducks under and follows up with a left that Marvin also avoids with ease.
Tamad will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

The crowd cheers as Tamad lands an impressive looking overhand right. Marvin doesn't seem phased though.

Juan Tamad is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tamad sizes up Marvin with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tamad.

Marvin swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Tamad counters with a slapping leg kick.
Marvin throws a hook to the side of Tamad's head but Tamad sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Marvin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Marvin lands in his opponent's guard.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Marvin lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Tamad makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Marvin connects with a nice short shot to Tamad's temple.

Marvin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tamad defends it easily.
