Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zak Macmillen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BoB Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zak Macmillen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Macmillen fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Black sprawls well initially but Macmillen persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Macmillen uses his free foot to push down on Black's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Black.
Macmillen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Black wants to control but Macmillen is having none of it.
Macmillen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Black looks a forlorn figure.

Macmillen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Macmillen has one foot on Black's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Macmillen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Black paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Black throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Macmillen manages to pass to side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Macmillen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Black manages to avoid it.

Black changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Macmillen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Macmillen is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Black asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zak Macmillen.
Well Macmillen has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
