Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hoshi Umino! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shim Changmin! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Changmin misses with a left hand and Umino moves into the clinch. Changmin wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A shot in the inside from Umino. Umino is stalling here.
Changmin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Umino tries to clinch up and Changmin counters with a nice body shot. Changmin throws a series of punches but Umino moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Umino wants to clinch enabling Changmin to counter with a crisp jab. Changmin circles away from the clinch attempt and Changmin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Umino wants to clinch but Changmin slips to the side and Changmin counters with a left and a right that stings Umino.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Umino tries to clinch enabling Changmin to counter with a crisp jab. Umino wants to clinch but Changmin slips to the side and Changmin counters with a two punch combo. Umino throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Changmin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Umino throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Changmin lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Umino closes the distance looking to clinch and Changmin counters with a stiff right hand. Umino connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Umino tries to clinch up enabling Changmin to counter with a crisp jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Umino wants to clinch but Changmin slips to the side and Changmin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Umino thinking. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Changmin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Nice uppercut lands for Changmin. That snapped Umino's head back.
Umino looks to clinch and Changmin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Umino is rocked!
It looks like Hoshi Umino has been cut. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Changmin grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Umino takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Changmin cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Shim Changmin! Shim Changmin decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
